Send Your Nudis is a nudibranch photography competition created to celebrate the beauty of macro underwater photography. It brings together divers, photographers and ocean lovers to share their best work and have the chance to see their images transformed into illustrated pieces. Entries are open to anyone with a passion for nudibranchs and all submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges from the underwater community.

Meet the judges
Jake Brandwine is a macro focused underwater photographer captivated by the vibrant, elusive, and often overlooked creatures of the reef. His passion for nudibranchs, especially rare and cryptic species, drives him to search for moments of color, detail, and character that few divers ever see. For this competition, Jake hopes to see images that combine strong technique with a sense of discovery and transform small encounters into compelling stories told in a single frame.

Underwater videographer, photographer, and educator, Elisabeth Lauwerys brings two decades of experience to the judging panel. Passionate about ocean storytelling and the tiny worlds of nudibranchs, she looks for images rich in technique, detail, and emotion.

Jacob is a multi award winning underwater photographer and filmmaker whose passion is telling conservation stories that inspire hope for our oceans. He spent several years in Indonesia in some of the best places in the world for nudibranchs and has seen a lot, though his favourite is the Shaun the Sheep nudibranch. For this competition Jacob wants to see images that stand out and capture a story in a single moment.

PRIZES
All three overall winners will receive a high quality print of their original photograph, along with a feature on the winners page and the official socials. The first place winner from each category will also receive a high quality print of their photograph.

Second Place
Your winning photograph will be turned into a detailed illustration and printed on a personalised hoodie.
Third Place
Your photograph will be transformed into a detailed illustration and printed on a canvas tote bag made especially for you.
